The pool is only shared with one other apartment (Pool Cottage) and it is open all year. With banana tees and a herb garden its the perfect oasis in the heart of the old town of Funchal. Pool is 7.5m x 3,5 m and is 140cm deep (heated naturally by the sun).

We give you local tips and try to make your holiday special and authentic. The house was fully restored and is kept in beautiful condition by local artisans who repair the wooden shutters and furniture which is handmade on the island. Artwork is also by local artists.
If you rent Pool Cottage & Painters Cottage you get a private pool for 2-4 guests.
There are steps and the road is steep (like most roads in Funchal) so not suitable for guests with mobility issues).
