The house is a period property over a hundred years old set on three levels and is not suited for guests with mobility problems due to the stairs within the house, and the steps access to the swimming pool. Young children & vulnerable guests should also be supervised due to the stairs and seafront location.

Set in Rua do Lazareto, in the heart of the historic old town of Funchal, where all the main attractions of the city are set but in a charming unspoilt setting. Casa Mar has three beaches nearby for year-round swimming, a farmers market, restaurants and cafés to enjoy.
